Templates

Templates are powerful tools that help you get consistent, high-quality interactions with models in oryelle. Think of them as pre-written instructions that you can reuse whenever you need them. Instead of typing the same context or instructions repeatedly, you can create a template once and use it across all your conversations.

When you start a new chat, you can choose from your saved templates or set them as defaults for specific folders. This means every conversation in that folder will automatically include your template's instructions before your first message. Templates are especially useful when you want to maintain a specific way of working with models across multiple conversations.

Creating Templates

Creating templates is straightforward. Simply go to the Library and find the Templates section. Click "Create Template" to get started. Give your template a name, add a description and write out the instructions or context you want to include. You can also add examples if they help clarify how the template should be used.

Examples

Here are some real-world examples showing how templates can improve your workflow:

Code Review Assistant

When reviewing code, consistency is key. A code review template might include instructions like:

Please review this code for security vulnerabilities, performance issues, and adherence to best practices. Focus on identifying potential bugs and suggesting improvements while maintaining a constructive tone.

Data Analysis Guide

For regular data analysis tasks, you might use a template that says:

Analyze the provided dataset with these steps: First, identify any obvious patterns or anomalies. Then, provide detailed statistical insights. Finally, suggest actionable recommendations based on the findings.

Customer Support Helper

Support teams can benefit from a template that ensures consistent handling of customer inquiries:

Help me respond to this customer inquiry. Maintain a professional and empathetic tone. Address all points raised by the customer and suggest solutions when applicable.

These examples show how templates can streamline your work and ensure consistency across different conversations and team members. Remember to keep your templates clear and focused on specific use cases for the best results.
